Meet Bailey! Bailey has come an incredibly long way since arriving at the shelter a year and a half ago. When she first came to us, she was frightened and would hiss or strike out if someone approached her. With time, patience, and lots of love, Bailey has slowly learned that people can be trusted—and her transformation has been wonderful to watch. Today, this sweet girl adores being petted and enjoys affection from the people she has grown comfortable with. While she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and is not a fan of being picked up, Bailey has blossomed into a much more confident and loving cat. She gets along well with other felines and would do best in an all-adult home where she can continue to thrive in a calm environment with people who understand and respect her comfort level. Bailey’s journey is a beautiful reminder that some hearts just need a little extra time, and she’s ready to find the patient, loving family she deserves.
