Meet Casper Casper is a 6-year-old poodle mix who was originally adopted from us in April and brought back to our shelter. He's a gentle, affectionate boy who is looking for a calm and understanding home to call his own. According to his previous owner, Casper is housebroken and has not lived with other dogs or cats so slow introductions (or a quieter home) would be ideal for him. Casper is prone to seizures and will require lifelong medication and routine veterinary care to keep him healthy and comfortable. He's already shown he's a resilient little guy and does well with care and support. Our medical team has provided Casper with a hernia repair and a dental cleaning, helping him feel his best as he starts this new chapter. When he first arrived, Casper was timid and shy, but he quickly showed his true personality-he's extremely sweet, friendly, and easy to handle, allowing full handling and enjoying gentle attention. Casper would thrive in a patient, loving home that can provide stability and meet his medical needs. In return, he'll offer loyal companionship and a whole lot of love
