About Yara
Yara comes with a striking look: one gold eye and one green eye. She's settled comfortably into foster care, showing her calm side and a preference for coziness over play. Toys don’t tempt her much; she’d rather curl up next to her person, always maintaining a physical connection. While she adapted quickly, loud noises and especially the vacuum send her into hiding, so her foster keeps cleaning low-key. Window gazing entertains her, but she’s shown no interest in venturing outside—she’s clearly built for the indoor life. Yara embodies the lap cat spirit, happy to receive endless pets on the couch. Although she’s not entirely sure about being held, she doesn’t mind it as much as some cats. She’s done well with her foster cat siblings but has bonded more with her people over time. A quiet, gentle home would suit her best. Fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and socialized, Yara is ready to become someone’s couch companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
