About Marnie
Marnie is a striking black tuxedo cat with a gentle, affectionate nature, born on January 1, 2025—making her a hardworking Capricorn who knows how to care for her family. After a rocky start at the county shelter and a brief adoption that ended when her new owners discovered she was pregnant, Marnie landed in foster care with Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue. There, she flourished and raised her five black-and-white kittens with remarkable devotion, always doting on them and seeking out gentle attention from people. She purrs at the smallest hint of affection, curling up in laps and offering quiet company and warmth. Marnie adores people and wants nothing more than to be close, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal, sweet cat. While she’s patient and loving with humans, she hasn’t gotten along well with other cats in her foster setting; she appears happiest when she’s the only pet, able to enjoy all the attention herself. Petite but full of heart, Marnie has weathered a lot and is longing for a quiet life as someone’s cherished feline. She’s ready to move on from her days as a busy mom and shelter cat, hoping for a stable home where she can bask in affection and finally relax. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
