DOB 06/24/2024 Meet Olive Moon, a beautiful young adult torbie with striking green eyes and an affectionate personality. Olive was rescued by a family in Salem who unfortunately lived in a cat-free rental property, so now she’s looking for a forever home where she can truly settle in and thrive. Olive has been around children and happily lets them carry her around. She’s playful and active, often getting the zoomies as she races through the living room and darts through cat tunnels. She loves toys of all kinds—especially anything that rolls—and she enjoys chasing and playing with her feline friends. Olive gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy having a playful companion. When she’s ready to relax, Olive enjoys bird-watching from the window and curling up on plush blankets for a cozy nap. At night, she likes to stay close to her person, sleeping at the foot or head of the bed. Sweet, easygoing, and easy to care for, Olive will shine in just about any loving home. PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
