About Chevy
Chevy arrived at the shelter as a stray, covered in fleas and ticks and clearly needing some care. Despite a rough start, this resilient eight-year-old hasn’t lost a bit of his spirit. The touches of grey on his muzzle don’t slow him down—he’s still full of pep and has a lot of life ahead. Daily walks are one of Chevy’s favorite things, and he keeps his kennel impressively tidy. He has a charming way of “talking” when it’s time for a bathroom break: one polite bark, and you’ll know exactly what he’s after. Chevy hasn’t been formally introduced to other dogs yet but he has shown mild interest in the lady dogs during playtime, so with slow introductions, living with another dog might be an option. He’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered soon. Chevy is really just looking for a soft bed, steady routine, and someone who values a loyal, affectionate companion with a bit of spunk and a big heart. Click apply to start the adoption process.
