About Cornbread Chihuahua Puppy

Meet Cornbread! This adorable 8–9-week-old puppy is already nearly the same size as his mom—and she only weighs about 11–12 pounds! Cornbread was found alongside his sweet mother at the Weslaco shelter in deep South Texas, with no other siblings in sight. While we don’t know who dad was, our best guess is he may have been in the 20–25 pound range—but that’s purely speculation based on Cornbread’s impressive size already. It’s honestly hard to believe this little guy is only a couple of months old considering how quickly he’s growing, but one thing is certain: Cornbread is an absolute sweetheart. He is currently thriving in a wonderful foster home, where he’s doing great with all the basics and soaking up love and guidance. Cornbread would do wonderfully in a family with children or with an active home that can provide the exercise, structure, and affection every growing puppy needs. Just one look at his video, and you’ll see exactly what we do—a sweet, lovable boy ready to find a forever family all his own. Cornbread is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $500. The fee includes transport cost.
