🐞 Excuse me… has anyone reported a suspiciously adorable little spotted bug stealing hearts around here? Because Ladybug has absolutely been caught in the act. Repeatedly. Location: Skiatook, OK Apply here: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Ladybug is soft, gentle, thoughtful, and somehow already carries herself like a little emotional support cloud with paws. If there’s a lap available, she would like to politely submit an application to melt directly into it.This sweet girl has mastered the art of cuddling with alarming efficiency. Pick her up, and suddenly you’re questioning all your life choices that didn’t involve holding a tiny puppy 24/7. She has one of those calm, comforting personalities that makes you instantly exhale and say, “This is the life.” Ladybug isn’t the type to bulldoze through life screaming “LOOK AT ME.” She’s more of a quiet little lovebug who wins people over with soft eyes, gentle affection, and the kind of sweetness that should honestly come with a warning label. Somewhere between her cuddles, her easygoing personality, and her tiny puppy sighs, she’ll have you fully emotionally compromised before you even realize what happened. 🐾❤️ Ladybug is a 6-week-old, 5-pound female Appalachian Sprinkle Shepherd — a highly rare and deeply scientific breed known for producing tiny cuddle enthusiasts with suspiciously cute faces and zero respect for personal space. Experts also suspect there may be some Husky, German Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, and Border Collie mixed into her little mystery mutt recipe… but honestly at this point we’re all just guessing the DNA gods were feeling whimsical. Mama Crickette came to us after someone discovered she had decided the safest and most luxurious place to raise her puppies was apparently inside their sofa. Once the family was brought to the shelter, they officially joined our fluffy butt crew and immediately started winning over everyone they met. While dad appears to have been a traveling salesman who left town before Maury could get involved, mama is believed to be a German Shepherd/Husky mix and only weighs about 49 pounds herself. Since we don’t think mystery dad was very large either, our best guess is that Ladybug will probably end up somewhere around 50–60 pounds full grown… but let’s all remember puppy math is basically astrology with fur. She could be smaller. She could be bigger. She could wake up tomorrow and decide she identifies as a moose. We do not know. What we do know is that this little crew likely won’t turn into your standard 97-pound Pyrabear that accidentally takes out your coffee table with one enthusiastic tail wag. So if you’ve been thinking about adopting from us (or honestly adopting in general) but kept hesitating because you weren’t prepared to own a dog roughly the size of a small polar bear… congratulations. This is your moment. Your “fun-sized fluffy mutt” era has arrived. 🐞💕 Ladybug is pretty convinced that every dog she meets is simply a new best friend she hasn’t fully charmed yet. She absolutely loves playing with her littermates and has also become quite fond of her foster family’s Pomeranian, Tallulah. Honestly, watching a tiny fluff nugget play with another tiny fluff nugget is enough to heal at least 67% of your emotional damage. She hasn’t been introduced to many other dogs yet due to her age and vaccine schedule, but so far she’s been sweet, social, and appropriately puppy-like in her interactions. As for cats, Ladybug has not officially met any yet because she is still just a microscopic baby potato learning how the world works. At the moment, her biggest concerns in life are snacks, cuddles, and figuring out why humans insist on using the bathroom alone. Kids, however? Ladybug is ALL in. She absolutely loves attention and affection from everyone she meets and happily accepts love like it is both her full-time job and constitutional right. If there are tiny humans willing to pet her, cuddle her, or tell her she’s pretty 46 times in a row, Ladybug is prepared to dedicate herself fully to the relationship. 🐞❤️ Right now, Ladybug’s energy level is sitting around a solid 3 out of 10, which means she absolutely enjoys playtime and little bursts of puppy zoomies… but she is also deeply committed to the fine art of napping. Ladybug has one of the softest, sweetest personalities imaginable. She is thoughtful, gentle, affectionate, and very much the type of puppy who would prefer to quietly crawl into your lap rather than be the loudest one in the room. She loves being loved on and practically melts into your arms during cuddles like a warm little marshmallow with paws. There’s something incredibly comforting about her personality. She’s calm, easygoing, and has that “tiny emotional support creature” energy that makes people instantly attached to her. Now before everyone completely loses their minds over this tiny cuddlebug, let us gently remind you that Ladybug is still, in fact, a baby. Her future family will need to continue working on potty training, leash training, socialization, and basic manners as she grows. Right now she is basically a tiny fuzzy sponge soaking up information about the world around her, so helping her build confidence and learn how to appropriately exist in society will be incredibly important. Puppy classes, positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency will go a long way with this sweet girl. The good news? Ladybug has such a gentle, eager-to-bond personality that she should thrive with a family willing to put in the time to help her grow into the wonderful dog she’s already showing signs of becoming. She’s sweet, loving, and very devoted to her people… she just needs humans willing to guide her through her “baby gremlin learning phase” first. 🐞❤️ Ladybug is the kind of puppy people spend years claiming they want — sweet, gentle, affectionate, adorable, cuddly, fun-sized, and emotionally manipulative in the cutest possible way. She’s got the soft little soul of a Disney sidekick and the face of something that should honestly be protected by federal law. Now for the less magical but still very important human instructions: if you’d like to adopt Ladybug, you’ll need to fill out an adoption application so we can send it over to her foster family for review. No, commenting “mine,” “OMG NEED,” or “I would die for her” does not legally count as an application despite what Facebook seems to believe. Also, Ladybug is located in Skiatook, OK, and her adopters will need to come pick her up there. She does not offer same-day Prime shipping, free delivery, or private jet transport.
