About Baxter Ct Local

Let's make sure this guy finds his final forever home. Meet Baxter 🐾 Baxter is an adorable little guy, just 11⁄2 years old, who is brand new to Paws New England and already stealing hearts. He was recently surrendered through no fault of his own, and now he's ready for a fresh start with a family committed to giving him the forever home he deserves. Baxter's former mom was an elderly lady who already had a small dog, and Baxter was given to her as a gift - she realized that two dogs were too much for her. She loved this guy, but her other dogs were much older, and she knew Baxter would be easy to find a home for. We're still getting to know Baxter, but here's what we've learned so far: 🐶 Dog-friendly: Loves playing with other dogs--especially smaller ones 👩 Comfortable with women: Warms up quickly and feels safe 👨 Men: Can be a bit nervous around bigger men--we're continuing to assess as he settles in 👶 Kids: Previously growled at a young child in his home environment, so we'll be retesting and learning more 🎾 Playful & active: A fun little companion who enjoys interaction and playtime Baxter came from a home where he lived peacefully with another small dog, but his previous owner felt she couldn't safely manage two dogs at this stage in her life. Now, it's Baxter's turn to land somewhere he can truly thrive. As he decompresses and we learn more, we'll continue to share updates--but if you're looking for a young, small, playful pup, Baxter is absolutely one to watch. 💻 Apply now at pawsnewengland.com/adopt 📧 Questions?
