Rodney
AvailableRodney is a large, mixed-breed Mastiff puppy with a short black and brindle coat, currently in Sioux City, IA. He is a male who is not yet neutered but is up to date on his age-appropriate vaccinations. Rodney is not yet house trained and has special needs due to a deformed front leg, but it does not slow him down. He does well with dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for a family looking for an affectionate and playful companion.
About Rodney
Rodney is a goofy, lovable pup with a lot of heart and even more personality. At just five months old and already weighing in around 45 pounds, he shows all the signs of growing into a large adult, and his breed mix remains a bit of a mystery. What’s certain is Rodney’s contagious puppy energy: he’ll zoom around the yard, gleefully play, and then happily snuggle up for a good, long rest. Born with a deformed front leg, Rodney doesn’t let it slow him down for a second. He makes life work his way; the only exception is stairs, which give him some trouble. If you have minimal stairs or the willingness to help him out, he’ll thrive. His ideal home has plenty of space for play, with people patient enough to help as he continues potty training and learning the ropes. Rodney needs continued socialization and obedience work while he grows into those big paws. He’s currently in a foster home with both dogs and cats, and gets along well with both—Rodney’s a social pup, inside and out. He’s got age-appropriate vaccinations and is microchipped; neutering will be needed when he’s older. His adoption fee is partially sponsored, bringing it to $70. If you’re looking for cheerful resilience and a puppy who’s all-in with love, Rodney just might be your match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
