Meet Unicorn! Some dogs are special from the very beginning… and Unicorn truly lives up to his name. Unicorn was the surprise baby of a litter of 11 puppies. After more than 20 exhausting hours of labor, his foster mom was certain the puppies had all arrived. Everyone finally started to relax… and then suddenly — one more tiny puppy appeared like magic. “Here, have this magical puppy.” And just like that, Unicorn got his unforgettable name. This sweet boy is now just over 2.5 months old and thriving, but his story could have been very different. His mama was rescued off the streets just in time and went into labor within 24 hours of coming into our care. Because of that rescue, Unicorn got the chance every puppy deserves: full bellies, warm beds, safety, and love. Unicorn is everything you’d hope for in a puppy — playful, curious, affectionate, goofy, and full of possibility. He’s the kind of puppy who will make you laugh daily, follow you from room to room, steal your socks, zoom around the yard, and eventually grow into the loyal best friend you can’t imagine life without. But puppies are also a commitment. Unicorn is still learning about the world and will need patience, consistency, training, supervision, and lots of love as he grows. There will be puppy chewing, puppy messes, puppy energy, and all the work that comes with raising a happy, well-adjusted dog. He’s a blank slate ready to become whatever kind of companion his future family helps him grow into. If you want the dog transported to New Orleans or Pensacola the total fee is $175. VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
