About Sparx

Sparx came from a rough start, found in the aftermath of a house fire and nearly lost when demolition was set to begin. He's understandably taken his time learning to trust, but he's made steady progress. Sparx thrives around other cats and is especially fond of Buddy, his current foster housemate. He won't tolerate being picked up, but gentle scratches on his head and cheeks are a hit, and he prefers to set the pace for physical affection. He responds warmly to kindness and patience, ideally from someone experienced with shy cats. A confident, sociable feline companion in the home will help Sparx continue to blossom. Playtime draws out his lighter side, and nothing makes him happier than canned food and crunchy snacks—just listen for his surprising little meows when he’s hungry. Sparx is vetted, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and combo tested, so he’s ready for a place to call home. He gets along very well with other cats and is perfectly fine with children, but he's not a fit for dog households. He’s poised to become a deeply loving companion for someone who’s willing to give him time and space to settle in. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
