Milo's owner has had a drastic shift in work requirements and is no longer able to care for Milo. She loves him very much, but Milo's favorite spot is near his person, and rather than keep him kenneled for 10+ hours a day, she would like to find him a loving home. Milo is a happy, healthy, five-year-old Corgi. His leash manners could use some work, but he loves walks. Milo knows many commands, including sit, down, stay, and heel. Milo is crate and potty-trained. He happily puts himself to bed at night and sleeps quietly in his crate. Milo considers himself the general of his house and can take a few minutes to warm up to new people. He requires slow introductions with new dogs and has shown a healthy respect for the cats he has encountered. He does well around children 10 and up and would love someone he could be active with.
