Artimiss is a medium-sized, chocolate and cream mixed-breed dog who just wants to curl up in your lap and soak up some love. She’s missing one of her front legs from an old injury, but that doesn’t slow her down or damper her spirits. She takes stairs a bit slower and would do best in a home with rugs or carpet to make things easier for her. Artimiss enjoys relaxing on the couch and loves cuddling up with her favorite humans. At night, she quietly settles into her crate—a sign she’s happy with a little downtime after an active day. She can be picky about her dog friends, so any introductions will need to be slow and supervised. Artimiss is not a match for a house with cats or small pets—her prey drive is too strong. She gets along well with children and has plenty of affection to give. This girl is energetic, funny, and thrives with gentle companionship. Because she isn’t fully house trained yet, some patience and consistency will help her settle in. Her ideal home has a securely fenced yard (not invisible fencing). She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and the rescue even has a special senior dog reimbursement program that helps cover annual vet costs.
