Meet Moon! Whether she is soaking up attention from her family, or lounging on her favorite cat tree, she is happy to hang with you! She may be a little nervous when she first goes into a new home, but she will benefit from some time and patience to adjust at her own pace. She has lived with other cats in the past, and will likely do well with other cats moving forward with a slow introduction. Don't be surprised when you see her swatting your straw around on the floor, they're one of her favorite toys! She will make do with what she's got, but would love having a play buddy as well. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
