She was rescued from a severe hoarding situation, where she lived among many other cats in unsafe and unhealthy conditions. Despite that difficult start, Hetty’s spirit has always shone through.When she first came into our care, Hetty was battling an upper respiratory infection, but with proper treatment and lots of love, she’s now fully healthy and thriving. She does have a few unique features that make her all the more endearing: one eye is slightly smaller than the other (our vet confirms it doesn’t affect her vision at all), and she has a little kink in her tail from an old injury. Think of them as her special signatures — reminders of her resilience.What truly sets Hetty apart, though, is her incredible personality. She was the very first cat to greet us when we entered that home, bravely running up for attention despite everything she had been through.
