Squeakers is the kind of cat who makes people fall in love instantly. Between his unbelievably soft medium-length tabby coat and his gentle, loving personality, he is truly something special. Seriously - his fur may be the softest we have ever felt. Squeakers came into our care after surviving a traumatic dog attack in his previous home. Due to his injuries, one of his back legs had to be amputated. But if you met him today, you would never guess the hardships he has been through. Squeakers has healed beautifully and continues to approach life with nothing but love, trust, and quiet affection. He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be near his humans. Since he is still figuring out life as a tripod kitty, he hasn't mastered jumping onto taller beds or couches yet. Instead, he will politely sit in front of you and quietly ask to be lifted up for snuggles - which honestly just makes him even more charming. Once he is beside you, he is happiest curled up close and soaking up affection. Squeakers has also done wonderfully with the other cats in his foster home and would likely enjoy a feline friend in his future home. He gets around very well, can handle stairs with no problem, and doesn't let his missing leg slow him down one bit. This sweet boy has every reason not to trust the world, yet he chooses love anyway. Squeakers is resilient, gentle, affectionate, and so deserving of a family that will cherish him forever.
