About Mira
Mira is part polar bear cub, part cuddle bug, part tiny tornado with paws. She started life abandoned with her sisters on a rural roadside, but luck turned when someone found them beneath the grass. Now, this big-fluffy Great Pyrenees pup is all soft edges and second chances. Mira’s still learning the ropes—new places and noises can make her nervous, and she’s suspicious of sudden movements. But when she warms up, her goofy side emerges: cuddly, playful, desperate for attention, and quick to dish out affection to both people and dogs. Typical puppy habits are all there. She loves stuffed toys, naps in the car, and has a puppy obsession with towels. She adores other dogs, has a gentle and submissive streak, and should get along with kids thanks to her patient, easygoing disposition. Cat compatibility remains a mystery, but her manners hint at promise. House-training is a work in progress (she sometimes gets so excited she forgets), as are crate training and leash skills—but she’s got a fast learner streak. Expect puppy enthusiasm, lots of play, and a sense of humor. Mira will need someone patient who knows, or is willing to learn, what it takes to live with a Great Pyrenees—including secure fences for her wandering ways and a willingness to commit to her training needs. She’ll likely grow to 90+ pounds, but right now she’s just a soft-hearted baby with giant paws and a bigger heart. Mira is available for local adoption in Charlotte, NC. Ready to fall in love?
