Written: 5/13/2016 Age: 7 weeks Meet Doppler! Doppler is an honorary member of our "Weather" crew, and has been with us since she was just three weeks old. She was found skinny and roaming by herself, with no mom in sight, and clearly hadn't been with mom for a while. We had a mom cat, Sky, in foster that took her under her wing and began to nurse her immediately. Since she was younger than her other kittens, she was also supplementally bottle-fed, and definitely acts like a bottle-fed kitten! She looooves people and will follow you around everywhere, and if you stop, well, you better get ready to not move because she likes to lay on your feet! She has been around other dogs before and doesn't care about them at all; she really just loves people! She would do well as an only cat or with another friend! She is litter box trained, and all Beagles and Bentleys cats are required to be indoor only. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers core vaccinations, her spay and microchip, along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
