Ralphie
AvailableRalphie is a male Domestic Short Hair cat located in Trenton, ME. He’s about 3 years and 9 months old and is medium in size, with a black coat. Ralphie is neutered, house trained, and vaccinated. He does have special needs and will require joint supplements to manage his arthritis, due to an old hip injury.
About Ralphie
Ralphie is the survivor cat—his story started rough, coming to the rescue dangerously underweight from a long-ignored intestinal blockage. After urgent care and surgery, followed by months of kidney-healthy meals and rest, Ralphie bounced back: he’s now a healthy, lively 11-pound goofball who never lets the past slow him down. He has a silly streak and loves to be busy, often pestering other cats in the home and seeking out new spots to explore. Ralphie’s history of a hip injury means he’ll need to stay on joint supplements and you’ll want to keep your vet in the loop as he gets older—some pain management could be needed down the line, but for now, he manages well and doesn’t let it affect his spirit. He gets along with cats, dogs, and children, adding joy wherever he goes. Currently living with a foster in Trenton, ME, he’s ready to charm his way into your heart—and bring plenty of laughter with him. If you want to meet Ralphie, contact the SPCA of Hancock County to set something up. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
