About Spike
Meet Spike, a striking deep orange tabby with golden eyes and a lean, athletic body. Spike’s short, soft fur practically gleams, and at about 10 pounds, he cuts an impressive figure. If you’re drawn to gentle, sensitive cats, Spike’s your guy—shy at first, but surprisingly affectionate once he settles in. He’s the kind who’ll curl up beside you overnight, follow you from room to room, and quietly demand lap time on his own terms. Treats are the quickest way to his heart. Spike craves a peaceful routine and prefers a home where he’s the center of attention. He could do well alongside his sibling, Sporty, if you’re open to a pair, but being doted on solo suits him just fine too. His laid-back, loving presence makes him an easy fit for people who appreciate a loyal, quiet companion. If you’re after a chatty or rowdy pet, Spike’s not it. All cats from this rescue are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for common feline diseases. Adopters need to keep Spike indoors only (unless on leash/harness or in a safe catio), be at least 21 years old, and agree not to declaw. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
