Cooper is an intelligent, loyal, and affectionate boy who forms a strong bond with his person and loves being part of a routine. He knows all his basic commands, settles easily in his crate, and enjoys being near his people without being overly clingy. Cooper can be protective and slow to warm up, but once he trusts someone, he becomes a loving, playful companion who lives for a good game of fetch. His interactions with other dogs vary, so slow introductions are best, and he’ll thrive with an experienced owner who can give him plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation.
