Adonis is a 1 1/2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Terrier mix who settled happily into his foster home after being found as a stray in Texas. He weighs about 48 pounds and has an easygoing, food-motivated personality. He clearly picked up some basics before coming to the rescue—he knows commands like sit and roll over, fetches with real enthusiasm, and can keep himself entertained with a ball or a stick on walks. Adonis loves being close to his people, often curling up next to you while you work or relax. He thrives with plenty of physical and mental activity, so he’d do best in an active household willing to play and keep his mind busy along with regular walks. He’s gentle with both dogs and cats, as well as children—his previous foster family had cats and he did just fine with them. Adonis is house trained and walks well on leash, unfazed by other dogs.
