About Wendy

Wendy is a 4-year-old purebred Westie recently retired from commercial breeding. She’s on the shy side but has started to come out of her shell, growing more curious and relaxed each day. Wendy does well with other dogs—she enjoys their company in her foster home and takes comfort from their presence. Nights are easy; Wendy sleeps quietly in her kennel and likes to cuddle up in soft dog beds. She’s just now starting to figure out what toys are about. Given her past, Wendy isn’t confident on leash yet, so a securely fenced yard is a must. She’d really benefit from having another dog in the home as a positive role model. An adult-only household or one with dog-savvy kids over 8 is preferred to help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
