Oliver is a medium-sized poodle mix who came to rescue from a difficult hoarding and breeding situation in rural Georgia. When he first arrived, he was timid and unaccustomed to regular affection, but after weeks of gentle care and encouragement from his foster mom and dog friends, Oliver has discovered what it means to be a companion. At just under 30 lbs and around 6-7 years old, he gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and even cats. Although naturally shy, he quickly forms strong bonds, especially with women, and is happiest when curled up in a lap. Oliver needs a calm household, preferably with adopters experienced with poodles and at least one confident dog to help him settle in. He’d do best with a securely fenced yard and at least one female in the home to support his adjustment to new people. This friendly guy is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
