My name is Jazz and I am a 3-4 year old medium-sized mixed breed who weighs about 30lbs. I originally came from a farm in Idaho, so learning all about "normal" house dog life has been a brand new adventure for me! A lot of everyday things are still pretty strange in my eyes. Baths? Absolutely suspicious. Walking on leash? I don't mind the leash itself, but I haven't quite figured out that zig-zagging between your legs might make you trip over me. I'm still learning how to confidently navigate this new world and understand all the routines that come with being a family dog. I came into rescue with four puppies, and now that my mom duties are done, it's finally my turn to find a home of my own. I'm looking for a patient, understanding family that can help me continue building confidence with positive experiences and gentle guidance. I may take a little extra time adjusting to new things, but I'm already trying hard and learning more every day. Our partner rescue also noted that I may not do well in a home with cats, though we don't have many details about that history, so a cat-free home would likely be the safest fit for me.
