Chauncey is the definition of sweet, calm, and easygoing. This lovable little guy has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven himself to be an incredibly well-mannered companion. He has had zero accidents in the house and is already showing what a good boy he is — especially at snack time, where he patiently sits and waits for his treats like a gentleman. Chauncey sleeps in his kennel and does very well overnight. He was a little unsure his first night and cried briefly, but quickly adjusted and has been comfortable ever since. His favorite thing in the world is being close to his people. He especially adores his foster mom and will happily wait outside her bedroom door hoping for extra cuddle time. He loves following his humans around the yard and simply being part of whatever they're doing. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys playing with his canine friends. He's also done well around chickens with no issues at all. While he hasn't quite figured out the dog door yet, he politely waits to be let in and out. Chauncey is truly hard not to fall in love with. Between his calm personality, affectionate nature, and strikingly beautiful markings, he is the total package. He's a gentle, loving little boy who is going to make an amazing companion for one very lucky family.
