Dog's Name: Babe Buzz (BUZ0526ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Chihuahua mix Approximate Age: 8 weeks Approximate Weight: 2-3 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Buzz! Buzz, his brother (Babe Woody), and their mom Fiona found themselves in a crowded shelter in Alabama — no place for this tiny family. Fortunately, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to give them a second chance. Mom Fiona only weighs 8.8 lbs (picture included!), so we expect Buzz to stay a small pup too. Buzz is a very sweet little boy who is ready to find his forever home and soak up all the love. At his young age, he's in the perfect stage for training, socialization, and learning all the good-boy basics. With a little guidance and a lot of cuddles, he's sure to grow into a devoted and lovable companion. If you're looking to add an endearing, affectionate pup to your family, look no further than this adorable little nugget. Buzz is ready to bring plenty of joy (and a little puppy mischief!) into your life. Apply today to meet Babe Buzz! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
