Buddy is a 2-year-old neutered male Basset Hound mix with a gentle spirit and a curious heart. When he first arrived, the leash was a little scary for him and he needed to be carried, but he handled processing calmly and showed us his sweet nature right away. Buddy can be a bit chatty in his kennel on some days, while other days he’s content to quietly observe the world—often sitting right up front, taking everything in. He keeps his kennel clean and has great habits, which is always a wonderful sign for a home environment. One of his favorite things is spending time with other dogs, where his playful side really shines. With a little patience and encouragement, Buddy is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
