About Koda

Hello there! My name is Koda πŸΊβ„οΈ I'm a charming Husky pup with a huge personality, an even bigger heart, and enough fluffy fur to make me look like a little walking cloud. β˜οΈπŸ’™ I'm 17 weeks old, already about 33 pounds, and still growing into these big paws of mine! Like most Huskies, I'm full of energy, curiosity, and adventure. I LOVE to run, play, explore, and be part of absolutely everything going on around me. If you're looking for a couch potato... I am respectfully not that guy. πŸ˜‚ I'm a very high-energy pup who will thrive with an active family ready to help me learn, grow, and stay busy both mentally and physically. I absolutely adore people of all ages -- from little kiddos to the elderly. I'm a social butterfly who thinks everyone should be my friend. πŸ₯° I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion. Cats though? Nope... definitely not a fan. 🚫🐱 I'm still learning about this big world and will need continued basic training, patience, and structure as I grow. The good news is Huskies are incredibly intelligent dogs, and I'm eager to bond with my people and learn new things. Consistent training, enrichment toys, walks, adventures, and playtime will help me become the best boy I can be. Now let's talk about something very important when it comes to owning a Husky in Arkansas... summer heat. β˜€οΈ Because of my thick double coat, I will need a family committed to helping me stay cool and safe during those hot southern summers. That means plenty of fresh water, shade, indoor air conditioning, and avoiding heavy exercise during the hottest parts of the day. Early morning or evening walks are best for fluffy pups like me. β„οΈπŸ§Š Huskies were bred for cold climates, so keeping me comfortable in Arkansas heat is a very important responsibility. I'll also need regular brushing to help maintain my gorgeous coat -- and yes, there will absolutely be fur tumbleweeds floating around your house. πŸ˜‚ Huskies are known for being vocal, intelligent, athletic, and sometimes mischievous when bored, so I'll need a family ready to keep both my body and brain active. At the end of the day though, I'm just a sweet puppy looking for a forever family to love, adventure with, and grow up beside. πŸ’™ If you're ready for a loyal best friend who will fill your days with laughter, zoomies, and endless personality, I might just be your perfect match.πŸ“ž You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me! **************** All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
