About Lyra
Meet Lyra. Her life started at a seafood market, picking up scraps and head scratches from kind passersby. Being indoors is still new, so sudden sounds and unfamiliar corners can leave her a bit jumpy, but give her time and she will lean right into your touch. In a quiet, patient home, Lyra blossoms slowly—her trust is a gift you earn, but her affection, once given, is all-in. She thrives around other cats and clearly enjoys feline company, though she’d also do well solo or with just one calm cat at her side. Daytimes, Lyra retreats or bird-watches, only emerging when the world settles down. At night, her quirky streak surfaces: hiding under beds and tagging your ankles like she’s playing her own secret game. It may take extra patience to win her over, but once Lyra rolls over for a belly rub, the wait is worth it. Lyra is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested. She’s ready for her next chapter in Saint Augustine, FL. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
