Independent, observant, and past the puppy nonsense Blanca is the kind of dog who likes to take a minute, look things over, and decide for herself. She's a more serious, independent girl who can come off reserved at first, but she has been getting more engaged over time and has shown she can warm up without any trouble. Out in the yard, Blanca walks calmly, appears house-trained, and mostly minds her business. She has done well around other dogs who respect her space, setting clear boundaries and then moving on. She isn't pushy or clingy, and she doesn't seem overly interested in toys--she'd rather explore, sniff, and keep an eye on what's going on around her. Blanca will likely do best with adopters who appreciate a dog with a steady, thoughtful personality and who can give her time to settle in. Because she can be cautious with new people and alert to activity around her, a home with older kids would make the most sense.
