About Ruckus

Ruckus didn’t have the easiest start in life— when rescued he was a sick, injured, homeless little kitten who was scared and in pain. But with a little TLC, this tough little guy started to heal—inside and out. Now, at about 1 year old, Ruckus is living up to his name in the best way possible! He’s a happy, energetic boy who believes life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. In Ruckus’s world, everything has the potential to be a toy if you just try hard enough! He spends his days playing at full speed, narrating his adventures with his little chirps and trills. He also enjoys being your little shadow cat, happily following his people from room to room to make sure you’re never lonely (or bored). Once he’s all tuckered out, Ruckus transforms into a cuddle bug. He loves curling up on a cozy lap or fuzzy blanket—though be warned, this will involve some very serious biscuit kneading first. It’s important work, and he takes it very seriously. Ruckus is a social butterfly with other cats, and adores his entire foster family and crew. Even the grumpy old residents in his foster home, he remains convinced that they will one day be friends. His best buddy is his fellow foster kitten, who Ruckus has helped come out of his shell by showing him just how fun life (and humans!) can be. Because of this, Ruckus will need a home with a feline friend or two who can keep up with his playful spirit. Ruckus is blind in one eye from an old injury, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit! While the eye is healthy, he will require an attentive home dedicated to monitoring and keeping it clean, no matter how much he protests. It can be a bit weepy, and because the eye is smaller, it should be monitored for any debris or injury. He can startle easily when approached too quickly from his blind side and has occasional depth perception miscalculations. This sweet, silly, resilient boy has left his rough beginnings behind him and is more than ready to romp into his future loving home. He's in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898
