Asa's Doggie Day Out 5/13/26: Today we started out by taking a walk around my neighborhood, but he didn’t seem interested in walking too much / was more interested in clinging close by my side. Afterward, I decided to show him my apartment where he made himself pretty cozy from the start. We ended up BOTH taking a nap and hanging out for about an hour and a half or so. I took him on another walk after hanging out and an attempt at playing with some of his toys, but he’s still getting used to the idea of play it seems. I packed him up in the car and took him with me to Dutch Bros for a pup cup which he really liked, but didn’t care for the biscuits inside. In fact, he didn’t care much for the biscuit snacks that were packed with him either, but whipped cream is a yes ! I took him on a final walk and, again, he wasn’t super interested in exploring too much. Overall a surprisingly low energy day for a six month old puppy that has any amount of aussie in him. He’s the most calm puppy I’ve ever met. He just wants to be held and lounge around it seems, but it could also be that he was getting used to a new environment. He’s fairly quiet, observant, and quite clingy. He loves being cuddled and does very well in the car if he can see you. An even tempered sweetheart that took all of my cuddles and kisses without batting an eye.
