He’s calm, gentle, and incredibly connected to his people—he’d choose snuggling with you over just about anything (though treats are a close second!). ________________________________________ Personality: Ark is the definition of a “Velcro dog”—he loves human connection and will happily stay by your side. He’s a relaxed, easygoing companion who enjoys calm walks where he can stop and “smell the roses.” - Gentle and calm - Non-reactive on walks - Loves affection and closeness - Smart and eager to show off his many tricks - Gentle, sweet, and brilliant ________________________________________ At Home: Ark is a perfect gentleman both inside and out. He has no destructive behaviors when left alone and settles in beautifully. He’s the kind of dog who brings a peaceful, loving energy into a home. - Not a fan of crates (Would need a heavy duty one if used.) - Sleeps through the night next to his foster parent on a dog bed ________________________________________ Good to Know: Ark would benefit from a slow feeder—he’s a hungry (and currently a bit too skinny!) “hippo” who just needs a little help pacing himself at mealtime. As his foster mom says—being selective isn’t a bad thing.
