Who is Happy, Friendly, Playful, and Sweet? It’s me, Luci! I’m a pretty Poodle mix, now about 1 year old, and I weigh 35 lbs. I was found as a stray puppy by the Northlake, Texas police department, taken to a local dog shelter, vaccinated, spayed, chipped, and then adopted by one of the police officers. Unfortunately, 7 months later, the fun wore off, my coat was matted, and the grumpy senior resident dog didn't want to play with me, so I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue to find a better life. My foster mom wants you to know that I am a wonderfully sweet and happy girl with lots of youthful energy for playtime with humans and dogs, running zoomies, playing fetch, chasing my tail, and any fun activities with my family. I love bouncy balls and crinkle toys, ropes for games of tug-of-war, and I haven't met a doggy treat I didn't like. I am friendly with everyone, not overly affectionate or kissy, but I will lay my head on you for love and pets, and I’m always up for a good head rub or back scratch. I am housebroken, crate-trained, walk well on a leash, and I don't guard my things. My curly coat is thick and will need regular brushing to prevent matting and grooming to keep me looking pretty!
