AvailableMax is a large, adult male German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix currently in Pompano Beach, FL. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and house trained.
About Max
Max was found roaming the Miami streets after being left behind by his previous family. Even after all that upheaval, there's still a bright curiosity and resilience in Max that makes him stand out. He’s believed to be a mix of German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois, carrying a blend of loyalty and love that endears him quickly. Over the last month, Max has been thriving in foster care, picking up new training and proving himself eager to learn and please. He’s comfortable with a medium pace of life—happy to go on long walks and play, but just as content to settle down beside his people for a cuddle. Max does best with confident handlers who provide both structure and steady leadership as he continues fine-tuning his leash manners. He’s house trained and fully vetted, including being neutered and microchipped. Health-wise, he’s bounced back from skin problems caused by earlier neglect. Max isn’t a fit for homes with young kids or cats—outdoor cats especially won’t mix, and with dogs, he does best meeting other confident or alpha dogs slowly. He’s not likely to pair well with very submissive dogs. Adult-only households, or homes with older teens, would suit him best. Max’s loyalty runs deep, and he’s just waiting for the right person or family to give him the stability and love he hasn’t had. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
