About Woody
Woody is currently with a rescue in Georgia and adoptable in the New Jersey area as well. He and his brother Buzz were found as strays in Dublin, GA, looking thin and a bit nervous, with positive heartworm tests, but both have since recovered fully and finished treatment. These days, Woody is back to a healthy weight and feeling much better. He’s a bit of a complex guy—sometimes selective about socializing with other dogs but also clearly enjoys their company, especially Buzz. Woody tends to assert himself with his brother yet loves to wait for him at playtime. He does best outdoors, loves car rides, and enjoys long walks, so a home with space and an adopter who’s active suits him. The ideal match is a senior or retired person who still enjoys outdoor activities. Woody would do best in a home without small children. He's up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and has been given a clean bill of health by the vet. Woody is still learning house training and will need a bit more help in that department once settled in a new place. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
