About Emerald

Emerald may be barely one year old, but this sweet and stunning gem is already a local celebrity. After being found on the streets of Waltham, Emerald led her rescuers on a high-tech mission. With the help of an AirTag, Emerald guided rescuers to her six tiny kittens hidden deep beneath debris. Known as “AirTag Mom,” Emerald has spent her young life as both a fierce protector and a devoted mama to her large litter. Now that her babies are ready for homes of their own, it’s finally Emerald’s turn to be the center of someone’s world. Emerald deserves a life where she can truly be the “Queen Bee,” receiving all the love and undivided attention she has always given to others. She would thrive best as the only pet in a home where she can relax, be spoiled, and rule her kingdom in peace. After her heroic start, she’s ready to leave the debris behind and settle into the soft, safe forever home she truly deserves. Apply to adopt Emerald today, and give this brave little hero her happily ever after. -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
