About Harper Lee
Harper Lee is a small brown tabby cat who speaks her mind. She’s spent her early months outdoors among a colony and, to this day, feels most at ease around other cats. Harper seeks out her buddy Scout for snuggles and wrestling matches, and she needs to have a feline companion in the home. Skyscraping cat trees are her favorite spot for bird-watching, and she enjoys ear and chin scratches—though only in short shifts. Harper prefers lounging near you over curling up on your lap, and she’s happiest when chasing wand toys. She’s cautious with people and may hiss or hide until she’s comfortable; patience is required for Harper to let her guard down. Kids over 12 seem to be her speed, but she hasn’t met a dog yet. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, and dewormed. Harper is waiting for a family who respects her space and will let affection grow on her terms. Questions about Harper Lee
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Harper Lee, a Domestic Short Hair/Tabby, adapts well to indoor environments where she feels secure and has access to places to perch, like cat trees. Homes that provide a safe, quiet space and companionship of other cats suit her best.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic Short Hair/Tabby cats like Harper Lee do not require outdoor space and will thrive indoors, especially if they have windows for watching the world go by and vertical spaces to climb and explore.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Harper Lee feels most comfortable around older children. Domestic Short Hairs can do well with gentle, respectful kids who understand a cat's boundaries, so a home with children over 12 would be ideal for her.
