How could you resist this cute, shy pair of female cats? Tiggs and Violet are reserved, 3-year-old cats who are looking for a home to call their own. Their previous owner was struggling with health issues and was no longer able to care for this duo. They are not thrilled to be at the shelter, but we hope that given time and patience they will make nice pets! We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
