About Oliver
Oliver is an easygoing, sweet-natured cat whoās about 3 years old. He found himself trapped on a porch one winter, hungry and in need of helpābut that uncomfortable start hasnāt dulled his warmth or curiosity. After some time in a large crate to decompress, he gradually opened up, seeking out affection, attention, and calm companionship. Now in a foster home, Oliver watches the household from his own quiet space and perks up every time his caretaker comes by for feeding or a visit. He rubs against your legs, wants to be near people, and stretches out contentedly after a good head scratch. Oliver is FIV positive, so heāll need a home where heās the only cat or with another FIV-positive companion. Heās never lived with other cats, but may do well with slow introductions. At his fosterās, he seems interested in dogs on the other side of the gate and isnāt nervous around them. Oliver would be happiest as a foster or adopted into a calm household where someone understands cats with his backgroundāhe still gets a bit wary when picked up and will need a patient adopter willing to help him keep gaining confidence. Heāll repay that with steady companionship, soft purring, and his gentle presence. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
