About Boone

Boone is a Heeler mix, about five months old, and has one goal: to snuggle up with his people. He runs on high energy and has a special love for fetch; toss a toy or ball inside or out and he’ll be right there, returning it straight to your feet and sitting for the next throw. Boone enjoys the company of other dogs but takes his time warming up to new canine friends, needing a few days to settle in around them. Kennels aren’t his style—he much prefers curling up near you at night. In the car, Boone proves easygoing, happy to snooze while you drive. Currently, Boone is doing well with potty training and already knows some basic commands. He’s eager to please, which helps his training, but as a young, energetic dog, he’ll need continued structure and consistency as he grows. He gets along well with children, too. Energetic, loyal, and loving, Boone is ready to become someone’s new favorite family member. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
