About Cowboy
Cowboy was rescued from the Lancaster shelter back in 2014 thanks to Paw Parent, and he’s spent most of his life in a loving home. After his adopters recently went through a divorce, Cowboy found himself searching for stability once again. Paw Parent welcomed him back without hesitation. Now at 14 years old, he stands out for his sweetness and gentle nature—this old soul greets his people with genuine joy and a melodic welcome, a little serenade that makes coming home a treat. Cowboy fits right in with other dogs, showing a mellow and easy presence that makes him a pleasure to have around. He handles life with grace, only skipping adoption events because riding in the car makes him queasy. Health-wise, he’s in good shape for his age, neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines. Cowboy deserves a calm home where he can enjoy his golden years, surrounded by the steady warmth of family and comfort of routine. He gets along with dogs, cats, and children—he’s ready to bring peace and affection wherever he goes. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
