About Pebbles
Pebbles is a 2-year-old, 44 lb hound mix who is gently discovering the world, one careful step at a time. She’s timid around new faces and situations, simply because so much is still unfamiliar to her. Once she feels a little reassurance and some patience (treats help), she opens up and the cautious layer melts away. Around people she trusts, Pebbles is playful, affectionate, and unashamedly silly. She’ll happily wag her tail, chomp a Nylabone for entertainment, and shower you with kisses. She bonds closely with her person and thrives on loyalty. Pebbles genuinely lights up when she has furry friends around—she gets excited to meet other dogs and would love to have a canine companion at home or plenty of playdates. A moderate energy dog, Pebbles does well with daily walks or a yard where she can safely explore. She’s looking for a patient, gentle adopter who can help her gain confidence and take life’s new experiences at her pace. Once she feels safe, you’ll get endless zoomies, enthusiastic affection, and see her big-hearted, playful side. If you have a soft spot for sensitive dogs and want a loyal buddy who’ll continually reward your patience with goofy antics and sincere love, Pebbles might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
