Bodee is a big-hearted shepherd pup with a soft, silly side. He greets you with happy little whines, melts into pets, and flops over for belly rubs like it's his life's calling. He's playful, curious, and proudly led by his nose. Watching him sniff and explore is half the fun, and when he gets excited, expect spins, pounces, and the occasional mid-air twist before he happily settles nearby to keep you company. He loves other dogs and reads them well, playing when it's time and giving space when needed. He even won over a more reserved resident dog, who now chooses him to play with. He's been respectful with cats and shows sweet curiosity toward kids. Bodee would do best in an active or balanced home that can give him both fun and reassurance as he builds confidence. He's doing great with training and is eager to learn with treats and praise. No potty accidents and he lets you know when he needs to go out. He walks nicely for his age, though he can get excited, so a harness helps. He knows "sit" and is learning "paw" and "down", with a bit of his uniquely adorable flair. He goes into his crate easily for treats and is starting to see it as his cozy space, especially with meals and daytime practice. He may take a few minutes to settle, but he's improving with routine and has slept through the night without fail. Bodee is still learning that the world is a safe place, so patience and gentle guidance will help him thrive. He also loves to chew, so appropriate chews and toys plus a little supervision will set him up for success. What makes him unforgettable is how much he wants to be part of your life. Watching him "help" in the backyard garden, following his foster dad like a tiny assistant, checking in, then running off to play before coming right back, says it all.
