About Toby CT

Toby Ct is a spunky 10-year-old terrier mix who came into rescue after his previous owner could no longer care for him. Toby is an energetic dog—he'll keep you entertained with zoomies around the yard, but he's also happy to slow down and enjoy a good cuddle. Curious about the world, he finds airplanes fascinating and sometimes tries to chase cars on walks, so he does best on leash with attentive handling. Dog parks aren’t a fit since Toby is unpredictable with other dogs. He's more suited to a home with a securely fenced yard, and he'd do best with respectful kids over 7. His high prey drive means cats are not recommended. Toby is healthy, housebroken, crate trained, and has his vaccinations current. He’s closely bonded with Bella, a 9-year-old chihuahua mix, and they’re searching for a home together. They sleep and eat in separate crates, but are inseparable otherwise and always keep tabs on each other. They’re ready to find a quiet place to settle in together.
