About Galleta
Galletaās story starts in the brush, tangled and afraid. When first rescued, she wouldnāt come out from the shelter of leaves and branchesāso thin you could practically see through her, each movement cautious. After a long, slow recovery filled with patient attention from her foster Erika, sheās started to bloom. These days, Galleta cautiously explores life with a mix of curiosity and guarded sweetness. Sheās still learning the ropes indoors but adapts quickly in a home where patience runs deep. Though Galleta once feared the world, lately her playful side shows up, especially when thereās a bowl of water for her to splash in or a leash in sight for a walk. She loves to give tiny licks and nibblesāher way of showing affection while she works out that whole "trusting humans" thing. Galleta respects her own boundaries, but if you earn her trust, sheāll seek out love in her gentle, quirky ways. She really shines in the company of cats and can get along with calm, respectful children. Around other dogs, she approaches cautiously, but warms up if sheās given space and an introduction. Sheās house trained and making real strides on leash. Her ideal family is steady, present, and willing to commit. If youāre the sort who values routine and the power of a patient hand, Galleta is a rare and special find. The sweetness of her "cookie" namesake is well worth the wait.
