About Kettle Corn

Meet Kettle Corn! This sweet, easygoing girl has a calm and gentle personality that makes her a wonderful companion. She’s been incredibly quiet in foster care — her foster hasn’t even heard her bark! Kettle Corn sleeps peacefully in her kennel and walks beautifully on leash without reacting to barking dogs or busy surroundings. She gets along well with other dogs and is happy to simply coexist alongside them, though she doesn’t seem especially interested in roughhousing or energetic play. When a young puppy pushed a little too hard for playtime, she politely let them know she preferred her space. Because of this, she would likely do best with respectful dogs and older, considerate children who can understand her calmer nature. Kettle Corn absolutely adores people and enjoys being close to her humans. She accompanied her foster to work and handled the activity and passing dogs with ease, showing just how steady and relaxed she can be in new environments. While she doesn’t appear to know basic commands yet, she has a wonderful temperament and would thrive with a family willing to continue helping her learn and settle into home life. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion with lovely leash manners and a gentle spirit, Kettle Corn may be the perfect fit! Kettle Corn is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Kettle Corn is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
