About Alvina & Simon
Alvina is an orange tabby with a signature wig-wagging tail that kicks into motion every time someone she loves walks by. Reserved at first, she softens quickly and keeps close to her siblings—always present, always observing, slipping quietly into companionable loafs in the hidden corners she claims as hers. Alvina’s playtime comes with melodic mews and trademark trills, especially when spring toys roll across the floor. Her unique, quirky boot on her back leg adds a touch of personality to her already regal posture. Simon is the quieter half, dressed in classic tabby stripes with a steady, subtle energy. He enters rooms with a polite chirp or trill, following his people faithfully, and learning—sometimes literally with a full-body headbutt—how to offer affection. Simon’s at his happiest chasing wand toys or lasers, showing off acrobatic moves and carrying his ‘prey’ with pride. Both are young and gentle, distinctly themselves, with a mix of sweet reserve and mischievous play. They thrive together and must be adopted as a pair. Their special diet helps with allergies. Foster-to-adopt is welcome. They’re in Beltsville, MD, and ready for the right home to find them. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
